This Privacy Policy explains how Nudom Information Systems ("Nudom Systems", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data when you visit our website at nudomsystems.com (the "Website") or interact with us through it.

We are committed to processing your personal data in accordance with the Bahrain Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018) ("PDPL"), its executive regulations, and international best practices.

3. Personal Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Information you provide via our contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number, and the content of your message.
  • Information collected automatically when you visit the Website (only after you accept analytics cookies): IP address (anonymised), browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time spent on pages, and (via Microsoft Clarity) anonymised session recordings and heatmap interactions.
  • Information from essential cookies: a session identifier and a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) token, used to keep the Website secure and functional. These are not used for tracking.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as data revealing health, religion, ethnicity, biometric, or financial information) through the Website.

4. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

We process your personal data only for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes, and only on a lawful basis under the PDPL and applicable laws:

6. Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: Google LLC (Google Analytics) and Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Clarity) process analytics data on our behalf, acting as data processors under our instructions and their respective terms.
  • Email infrastructure: contact form submissions are transmitted via standard email infrastructure to our internal mailbox at [email protected].
  • Legal compliance: we may disclose personal data if required by Bahraini law, a court order, or a lawful request from a competent authority.
  • Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the protections in this Policy.

We do not transfer your personal data to any party for direct marketing purposes.

7. International Data Transfers

Google and Microsoft may process personal data on servers located outside the Kingdom of Bahrain, including in the United States and the European Union. In accordance with Article 12 of the PDPL, we rely on the safeguards offered by these providers, including their Standard Contractual Clauses and certified data protection frameworks, to ensure that your personal data continues to receive an adequate level of protection.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy:

  • Contact form enquiries: retained in our email system for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, and thereafter for a reasonable period for record-keeping and to address potential disputes (typically up to 3 years), unless you request earlier deletion.
  • Analytics data: retained according to the defaults of Google Analytics (up to 14 months) and Microsoft Clarity (up to 13 months).
  • Essential cookies: as listed in the cookies table above.

9. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under the Bahrain PDPL (Articles 19 to 22) and applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right to be informed about how your personal data is processed (this Policy serves that purpose);
  • Right of access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Right to object to or restrict processing, including for direct marketing or processing based on legitimate interests;
  • Right to erasure of your personal data, subject to certain legal exceptions;
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (for example, analytics cookies), without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal;
  • Right to data portability, where applicable;
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority of the Kingdom of Bahrain if you believe your rights have been infringed.

10. Children's Privacy

The Website is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe that a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

11. Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, restricted access to our email systems, anti-spam protections, rate-limiting on the contact form, and regular security updates.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted on the Website, and where required by law we will seek your renewed consent. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
